Frontend Engineer (React)
About the Role
Rapptr Labs is looking for a talented front-end engineer to join our growing design and development agency, which is passionate about creating robust, pixel-perfect websites. You’ll work with our Clients, Designers, Product Managers, and other Engineers to create cutting-edge codebases for our clients’ diverse applications.
This is a temporary, three-month engagement, working 40 hours per week as a 1099 contractor. There is potential for a full-time, permanent position at the conclusion of the contract.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and test high-quality code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Integrate third-party libraries and services like RevenueCat, Ably, OneSignal, and more.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by researching new technologies and sharing knowledge with the team.
Key Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React)
- Proven history of developing web applications preferably used by the general public
- Ability to pro-actively manage your time to ensure you’re maximizing your productivity for our clients
- Ability to effectively communicate challenges and issues both verbally and written.
- Alignment with Rapptr Labs' core values, particularly embracing challenges and getting better every day.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience working with previous development agencies.
- Knowledge of modern React frameworks such as NextJS, Gatsby, etc.
- Knowledge of CSS libraries such as Tailwind and Styled Components.
- Understand REST and/or GraphQL.
- Knowledge of additional libraries and tools utilized by our company, such as Launch Darkly, Optimizely, Ably, or Revenue Cat.
